Archery Range in SL

An incomplete YOG archery range I modelled in SL for FYP. Took me two days to model the environment, as well as figuring how to texture objects. After FYP, no more SL for me ever.

What’s So Amazing About Really Deep Thoughts?

It’s another weekend again. Last week was great – badminton (surprisingly I didn’t have any aches), camwhoring at Henderson Waves, our own steamboat 慶功宴 at Snail’s place, and photoshoot with ShuiMuMu being my model!

Cool eh? I have a professional model. LOL! Oh yes, do you know how shiok is it when Liyi mentioned during LHB about us 穿反-ing on her autograph session? “什麽樣的偶像就吸引什麽樣的粉絲”……“你知道她專輯里有一首歌叫《反穿》(should be 《穿反》lah)嗎？這一群粉絲就把衣服反穿，不在意別人怎麽看，就滿場到處走，跟瑞恩一樣酷！” Woohoo! Thanks ah! LOL!

Anyway, there was this very interesting article on RE. The Monday Interview – I had been wishing they would feature her one day (don’t know who said before this column is for OUT celebrities. =.=). After reading the article, I’d say: No, I can’t relate to her. Her life seemed almost opposite of mine…can’t possibly understand how she felt exactly. However I really admire her courage & honesty for this. No wonder she’s my “idol”.

Wooo~ 4 weeks passed?! One-third of FYP gone just like that?! I seriously think I’m behind time. Plus the @#$%^&* portfolio which I’m helplessly stuck with. It’s gonna be hell for me soon, very soon…

Walk

Wah! It’s already the 17th week of my Year 3 school term! Surprisingly, I finished my 3D-related assignments much earlier than expected, especially when I really started on AVFx sometime only last week! Modeling > Texturing > Rigging > Animating > Editing – everything in slightly more than a week! OMG. I thought I couldn’t finish it on time, as almost everyone else had started rigging while I was still modeling. =.= Well, for the results, I just hope I pass.

I hope tomorrow’s presentation, which we’re doing for the second time, will be smooth-sailing too.

Here’s some sort of street photography for our photo essay assignment, which costs me a whooping $72 for printing!

All photos are post-processed using Aperture. Initially desaturated the photos a little, but was suggested to make them a black & white photography.

So far I think this series of photos is the most challenging task. Had to be thick-skin to ignore the stares from passers-by. I’m sure I looked pretty much like a sicko trying to take photos of people’s legs. OMG…T_T
