I’m so sad Rui En’s not nominated for Best Actress. The judges definitely have stamps pasted on their eyes. KNS! She’s so under-rated! Even Jeanette wasn’t nominated…WTH! Both of them aren’t under MediaCorp, so perhaps some ‘biasness’ during judging. Arghh!!!

[Metamorphosis] Withdrawal Symptoms

*A note to those who haven’t watch [Metamorphosis], contains spoilers! Hehe…

Xicun and Wanrou – Part of Dragontooth

[Metamorphosis] has ended on Monday, and I’m missing it so much already. I have to say that it’s definitely the best MediaCorp drama in recent years, perhaps in the 21st century. I don’t think I have ever get so crazy over a show… I am feeling extremely lost without being in front of the TV, feeling excited and tensed up from 9-10pm on weekdays.

It has a very good story plot, with many unexpected twists in each cases. The ending was good, but very sad. I was too mentally-prepared that I didn’t manage to cry while watching the last episode. Really saddening to see the good and kind Wanrou turned evil after a series of incidents which haunted her, making her seeking revenge on her boyfriend, Ouyang.

One of the most touching part in the last episode was when Ouyang told Wanrou he would still chase after her, even after what she did to him and his mother. At that point, we could see that she felt really remorseful because of her evil-doings (killing people through hypnotism and shooting his mother and Ryan dead). Those happy moments of them just appear in my mind at that time…really saddening. In the end, Wanrou committed suicide, out of guilty, perhaps? =(

Another heart-wrenching part was when Xiaoqian put back the ring on her finger, despite Xicun being in Dragontooth, an organisation carrying out acts of ‘justice’, going against the police in some ways. She still loved him afterall, although he had been betraying her all the while. (But his love for her was genuine.)

The scene of Xiaoqian carrying her baby was so weird! Rui En looks too young to be a mother. =.= And what’s with Dilun inside the room then? X_X

Anyway, the couples – Ouyang and Wanrou, Xiaoqian and Xicun – they still loved each other despite their “differences”. That’s called true love. *??*

Recycle & Reuse?

I was laughing non-stop when I saw a number of photos from the album which Rui En flipped through in yesterday’s episode of [Metamorphosis].

Imagine looking at photos of yourself taken from a previous drama. LOL! Aud also noticed that one of the tops Lin Xiangping wore was identical to the one Zoe Tay wore in [The Unbeatables 3]. MediaCorp is so…… =.=

Second last episode today. OMG…Xiaoqian will be crying so sadly (out of guilt, maybe)…many thumbs up for Rui En for bringing the character out so real and naturally. BEST ACTRESS FOR STAR AWARDS! =D

Meanwhile, I’m really pissed off with some idiots who posted spoilers without any warnings in MediaCorp forums. Damn!
