Had our first SP3 meeting today yesterday, after a series of unfortunate events. Had a short discussion in the cafe inside the school library, and the DET team ended up talking most of the time, whereas my DMD team remain silent, as we don’t play games. But the DET guys were funny. =X

OMG, I still can’t believe we’re starting on SP3 already. It stretches from now till end of August. Good luck to me. T_T

Hur hur, I’m tired of Lin Yu Zhong’s album already (that’s really fast), and currently addicted to MLB’s new album which was released not long ago. I’ve been playing it on repeat mode deliberately, to see if their songs are “long-lasting”, and decide whether I should buy their album when there’s a re-edition. Muahahaha! Songs such as [?], [??] and [???????] really rocks! I like Sam’s voice and drumming, while Weiqi’s role of playing the keyboard shouldn’t be neglected too! (For Nic…no comment. =X ) Overall, I love their ways of arranging their songs, thus 9/10 for MLB! =)

Recently, I have the urge to buy anime movies online (e.g. ???????????, ?????????) and my sister has been frantically searching for ??????????? recently. And I wanna re-watch The Homecoming, and looking forward to the upcoming drama, [Honour and Passion], because of Constance (WTH?) although I expect her role in this drama to be a minor one. xD

Well, busy weeks ahead. Counting down to semester break! 6 more weeks!

Oh no! I just ate an upsized meal at Mac, all by myself! Super bloated now, and it’s so unhealthy. Usually just a student meal can make my stomach so full, and I’m so surprised how much I ate just now. Okay~ I was extremely hungry then, and partially I thought I could treat myself to something “better” as I found a $1 coin on the grass patch in the afternoon. =.= Now I feel so guilty eating so much. T_T

Whee~ 1st of July! Half a year gone, and I hope the second half will soon be gone in a breeze.

Anyway, I’ve finally changed my “Listening To…” column! The two albums I’m listening to are namely Lin Yu Zhong’s [???] and Fang Da Tong’s [???].

I first listen to [???] and find it rather good - 7.5/10 - as Lin Yu Zhong excels in ballads, IMO. The tracks I like are mostly the ?? of this album - [?????????], [??], [??], [???], [???] and [?????]. However, sometimes his songs remind me of JJ. =/

Next! *drum rolls*…

Fang Da Tong! LOLx! His album rocks! Another talented songwriter who composes with his owns style - soul and R&B. The tracks I like currently are [???], [???????], [?!], [?????] and [If You Leave Me Now]. My favourite has to be [??????]! 8.5/10 for this album! And his live performance is great too. One of them below:

Just like many other really talented singers, he isn’t very good looking as well. Haha, but to me, what matters is the voice and music. =)

Of course there’re some exceptions. Heh heh! Because our chio and kind-hearted Yanzi will be going to Niger for charitable purposes (volunteerily, I heard). Hooray! From Congo to Aceh, Calcutta to Niger! That’s our big-hearted aunty! =X

Of course after doing so many charity work, she’s awarded Youth Oustanding Award again this year! Congrats! Woohoo! Besides being our idol, she’s our role model too. *salutes* =D

School’s quite fun this week. Haha, made some new friends from different classes.

Principal of Games Design - First thing we did was to present our favourite game. Heh, I rarely play games now, so I decided to talk about Pangya. LOLx, my presentation is so short lah, because I didn’t know what else can I talk about. =.=

After that, we worked in groups to create a game. LOLx, our group’s discussion was really funny. We had a modified version of ???, so we would say ???????, with five levels of different actions. OMG lah! The fifth level (created by Lisa) was so unglam! xD From brainstorming to ostrich, gay to He Xiangu and Guan Yin, low-cut to high-neck blouse with a whole on the chest… Wahahaha! And we were laughing so loudly, no image… =X Laughed till stomachache. =.=

Interactive Multimedia - First half of the lesson was boring and dry, and I was really sleepy that time. I bet I could have dozed off if I wasn’t sitting at the place which the lecturer could see me. The next half of the lesson was much better as it was pretty interesting. We were sharing how we can categorize students in a class - amount of leg hair (eeewwwwww~), number of teeth, skin colour (racist!) etc. By then, everyone was awake from their dreamy state. Yah, and don’t continue to ask me what is interactive…I’m scared of the word already.

Japanese - It’s killing me already. OMG, we have to memorise all the Hiragana characters. Crazy!

Web Design - Coding tables. @#$%^&*!!! I love Dreamweaver!

Visual Arts Techniques - Wheee~ We did an apple in pixel art, quite fun but it’s difficult and requires patience. @_@

Lecture on webhosting - Almost fell asleep because of the lack of sleep the previous night. After the lecture, there was suppose to be an optional drawing lecture by the retro lecturer, but everyone ran out of the lecture theatre after the webhosting lecture ended. LOLx! Never give face… =D

Argh! But next Wednesday will be a loooooong day! 8am to 6pm, extra hours for web design make-up lesson…SIAO AH! All because of Labour’s Day. =.=

Just watched Yanzi on [Music In The Air]. Argh! They cut all the nice and funny parts away, and I didn’t feel so high compared to the Live recording almost 3 weeks ago. I thought I could watch the funny interaction between Yanzi and us again, but ROAR!!! They even cut away [Gugi Gugi] rap. Cut here, cut there…cut your @$$ lah. So disappointed…

Yesterday was such a depressing day for me, as I couldn’t go out to collect my Yanzi’s album. Furthermore, Aud was high-ing over the songs on MSN, while Ade and Bear were discussing about the album packaging. What a torture! Finally, I got it today and listened to it immediately and has played it for 3 times. Ahhh! Excited! Overall, it’s another masterpiece by Yanzi worth applauding. I’m not good at reviewing, but I shall give my most honest opinions on each song below.

01. In The Beginning (8/10)
Instrumental introduction to the album. Produced and piano played by Yanzi! Sounds beautiful yet mysterious… Imagine the pyramids of Eygpt.

02. ?? (8.5/10)
I like the progression of the musical arrangement throughout the song.

03. ???? (8/10)
Simple and clean melody, sounds like a cute lullaby.

04. ???? (9.5/10)
Fun and fast-paced song, very catchy tune. Love the funny, unique and comical Yanzi’s style of rapping. I just can’t stop laughing whenever I hear the rap which is written by her too. LOL!!!

05. ???? (9.5/10)
Definitely one of the best ballads in this album, although it didn’t leave deep impression on me initially. Another song which can bring tears to your eyes. Ballads are always Yanzi’s forte!

06. ?? (9.5/10)
As the title suggests, it’s a very calm song. Produced by Yanzi and nice composition by Jim Lim. Sounds best when you’re alone in a quiet night.

07. ???? (6.5/10)
From piano in the beginning to rock towards the middle of the song. It still haven’t leave much of an impression on me.

08. ????? (7/10)
Another fast-paced song, with a mystery of weird sounds in the first few seconds of the song. It’s actually a reversed version of [????]’s rap! Catchy chorus, give me a little bit of “a-go-go” feeling. Haha…

09. ?? (5.5/10)
A little disappointed and didn’t like it initially. Guess it was the “whirlpool” effect of the background music. Too “wavy”, I guessed. I was reading the lyrics while listening to it, and the effect really made me a little giddy until I couldn’t read the words properly. Lastly, the song’s not catchy enough.

10. ????? (9/10)
Another work produced by Yanzi. One of my favaourite ballads in this album! Although it’s quite a typical type of ballad, but I really like the melody of it, especially the chorus. Another tear-evoking song…

11. ?? (6.5/10)
Jointly produced by Yanzi and Eric Ng. Don’t know why the drumbeats in the background in some parts of the song, but it’s still nice, though I’m still not very impressed with the whole song.

12. Afterward (10/10)
The ending of the album, also produced and piano played by Yanzi. I LOVE THE PIANO! Soothing and nice!

Overall, I give this album 8/10! And thumbs up to the Executive Producer of this album - Stefanie Sun Yan Zi! Hooray! Yes, I think she did a great job in this album, can see her efforts in it. Initially when I heard her compositions weren’t choosen this time round, I was quite disappointed, as in every album (not only Yanzi but other singers as well), it’s their own compositions that I always look out for. I miss her great compositions like [??], [??] and [Someone]. But that’s okay, since she has participated more in the production of this album. Yes, there’s still a Make Music logo on the credits page. ??????!!! xD

Feel like crying (beacuse I $_$)… Just when I listened to [????], makes me feel even more like crying. It’s a very touching song…the melody is so saddening, with Shijia’s sincerity in the song, which can bring tears to your eyes, especially when you listen to it in an absolute silent enviroment. Gosh… That’s the reason why I love this song to bits.

Recently, I have a sudden interest for JS. Perhaps it’s the songs recommendation on Yes933’s “Hot Stuff” for [????????] caught my attention. Simple melody plus the “??” feeling. Furthermore, I was re-listening to [????] OST then, and fell in love with their [?????????] once again. A pity I don’t see their latest EP in stores here…
