Haven’t touch my cam for three weeks, I think it would have continue rotting in the dry cabinet if I didn’t take it out today.
Some pictures of the wedding lunch earlier on.

Woots! This week passed quite fast and it was rather fun at work too. One of the colleagues tried to bust me when gambling online, so I accused her of bullying me. Guess what she replied: “Interns are meant to be bullied.” Oh well… =.=
2 weeks down, 10 more to go! Ahhh! I miss school! First time I said this, eh?
I thought we can never record videos/movies using DSLR, Nikon proved me wrong. They’ve just released a new mid-class DSLR, the D90, the first ever with movie function. Ultimate coolness. The price definitely won’t be cheap.

I wonder if Canon will come out with this feature on theirs too. Movie function is not a must for me, but definitely a great bonus if there’s one.
My back surprisingly recovered from yesterday’s TT session. That was fast! But the ache shifted down to my legs when I woke up this morning. It worsened a lot after I had to climb up the freakin’ EIGHT flights of stairs back to office after lunch. My ‘sng‘ legs… T_T
BTW, I saw a 2000X carplate today at Upper Thomson. Haha, not SFR, which is history already lah. Wahaha!
FTW & WYG finished 3rd and 4th placing respectively at Volkswagen Women’s World Cup today. Congrats!
Woah! I want more table tennis sessions in future! Sports seriously can help to destress.
Stopped by at AMK to buy a new bat, because the rubber on my old one wore off (and I need a more decent one). Then went to STTA with Aud, Ade, Eve, Joselyn and Candice.
When we went to the counter to book the tables, Aud saw a stack of Li Jiawei’s postcards placed inside the office, and excitedly asked the lady to give some to us. OMG, she really sounded like an excited fan and all of us, including the lady, were laughing at her. LOL!
Played for 3 hours - wasn’t that tiring, but really fun though I haven’t played TT since ages ago. Unfortunately, my back hurts now, probably due to my wrong footwork. But I hope to have more TT sessions soon!
BTW, saw Sun Beibei having her training there. Woah…fierce! Smash smash smash~ The other 3 players - LJW, FTW and WYG - are all playing in the Volkswagen Women’s World Cup in KL now.
ZOMG! FTW beat Guo Yue!
9-11

It’s work for the next 5 days again. Boohoo~ I’m looking forward to our badminton session next weekend!
Wah, I’ve too much things to blog about for the weekend. @_@ Going to do it CHOP CHOP FAST FAST.
On Friday morning, woke up “early” to watch the semi-finals table tennis match between LJW & ZYN. The odds of LJW winning wasn’t high, but I think she did very well during the match, could still sense the fighting spirit within her, though she was already on the losing side. 1-4, but I wasn’t disappointed, she fought till the end.
Went to STTA later in the evening, with Dajie, Snail and YL, to watch the bronze medal match against GY. Just after we settled down, Dajie commented at the first row of the seats, which were labelled with “VIP”, that those were reserved for “hao xiong di” (good brothers) since it’s the 7th lunar month now. =.=|||
We were then given clappers (which weren’t used at all) and flags of Singapore & Team Singapore. We had nothing to do besides waiting for the match to start, so either YL or Dajie came up with this idea of sticking the flags onto Dajie back to do a Thaipusam. It was really funny till Snail’s tears flow non-stop. LOL! Anyway, Snail was unusually crazy that day. Attempted to disturb me a couple of times, but FAILED! Wahahahaha!!!
The match started at 7.30pm…GY leading after 2 games. Then LJW caught up by the 4th game, and my hopes for the bronze medal rose again. Sadly, GY was too determined to win it, and went on the win the last 2 games. Argh, a little disappointed that S’pore couldn’t get another medal. However, I must say LJW did tremendously well during the match. Even stronger fighting spirit was sensed while watching.

‘wen’ (stable) written on her palm.
So sad to see LJW breaking into tears when doing the interview right after the match. She also hinted that she may retire a couple of years later, though I still hope she stays on for the London Olympics.
After staying back at STTA to watch another match between ZYN & WN for the gold medal, we went to an arcade in Toa Payoh. Played basketball (the culprit of my half-handicap-ness now) and Time Crisis - loser in this game.
Woots! I wanna see LJW & FTW tomorrow! =D

SILVER MEDAL FOR SINGAPORE!
Yay, the results is kinda expected. Not likely that the Singapore team would defeat the China team who has been dominating the table tennis champion title since eons ago. Didn’t sense much fighting spirit yesterday, as compared to the Friday’s match, but I think they did a good job - “WOW“-ed me quite a number of times. If you think the Singapore team “gave up hope” because they were playing against China, go bang yourself on the wall, because they DID defeat them before!
Not much to comment about the match because the China players were so much more aggresive and FAST for them. They’re not called world champions for nothing man… @_@
Then it was the award ceremony. Oh man…I almost cried because the scene was sooo touching! I’ve never seen Singaporeans standing on the podium, and the Singapore flag rising high in Olympics (I mean LIVE on TV). Imagine one day, you hear Majulah Singapura being played there, I’ll simply cry man.
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to the paddlers! We’re so proud of you! =D
P/S: As expected, lots of politics about the winning of our silver medal. Narrow-minded people bashing up the China-born Singaporeans. Get a life man…
P/P/S: Lots of supporters have been praising FTW as the heroine. Yes she is, but I think LJW ought to be commended too. Losing your match doesn’t mean you’re not a heroine. She might have lost to KKA during the single game in s-finals, but to me, she has WON. Really impressed with the way she played, the vast improvement she has made. (Oh, it rhymes!) Besides her obvious weaknesses (quick-tempered & impatient) during games, she makes a prominent player in the team. Kudos to LJW! =D
P/P/P/S: Anyone misses Jing Junhong? LOL!
In Aud’s blog about the s-finals on Friday:
“Oh and I was told by Ade, that BEE ACTUALLY CHEERED AND SHOUTED! OMG LA! Another history in making, seriously, Ade should have recorded it!”
In MSN:
“ade say ‘really shout’
lol
when we told queen and jm they were like ‘OMG!’ why ade never record!”
TSK TSK TSK! You people! Talk bad about me! TSK TSK TSK!
I thought I shouted/screamed/cheered even louder than that during Yanzi events. Aud SHOULD HAVE seen me shouting my “heart/lungs/bladders” out during last year’s Star Awards, even laughed at me for “cheering for the wrong person” some more. =.=
Yeah yeah, another round of cheerings/shoutings this evening again! =D
Wishing the Singapore paddlers ALL THE BEST!
xin jia po, jiayou! xin jia po, jiayou! xin jia po, jiayou!
