But I’m more interested in this – low cost prime lens, EF 35 f/1.8 USM…

Following Nikon and Sigma’s lead, Canon could be ready to launch a replacement of their 35 f/2 and 50 f/1.4 lenses.

EF 35 f/1.8 USM

EF 50 f/1.4 USM

It was suggested there’s a possibility the 35 may be an EF-S mount.

The 35L replacement will be coming with a pro body.
