2008 Revisited (I)

Did this for the year 2007, now it’s time to ‘revisit’ to 2008. It has been a really really great year.

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Celebrated 4 days of my birthday with different groups of family and friends, as well as my “idol”. So unforgettable. =)

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5. What countries did you visit?
Malaysia.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Money, to be put into good use.

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
17 January – The email received after days on tenterhooks.
30 May – BUP – our Water Festival inside the chalet. We flooded it!
15 August – first Olympic medal for Singapore in 48 years!
12 October – The great day spent with the bunch of “BFF” and that little accident outside Tanah Merah MRT station.
27 October – How many people gets to celebrate their actual day birthday with their “idol”? Haha! I feel so blessed. =)
27 December – BBQ, games, HTHT and overnight with YanziUnlimited BFFs!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Talking more (crap)? Haha!

9. What was your biggest failure?
Procrastination, again.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Minor ones – sore throat + flu several times.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
55-250mm IS lens & 430 EXII flash. Never regret at all, although they did MAJOR DAMAGE to my pockets.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
No idea…???

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
…

14. Where did most of your money go?
MS Color, John 3:16, Cathay Photo, TK Foto etc.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Extremely thrilled over that email received.

a) happier or sadder? Happier.
b) thinner or fatter? Fatter.
c) richer or poorer? Poorer – to the extent of near poverty.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
School work.

Procrastinating.

Shopping with family, napped, and chilling at Old Town.

No.

The highly anticipated 不凡的爱.

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Yes.

None. =X

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
None.

DSLR! Thank you, papa! =D

Nothing that important. I shouldn’t ask for more!

Letters from Iwo Jima – movie from 2 years ago.

29. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
Playing at Sentosa, and celebrating outside Mediacorp RG.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Nothing in particular. I’m actually quite satisfied with how I spent the year 2008.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Anything me.

32. What kept you sane?
Nothing.

In 2008, it has been full of Rui En, LP and Samy.

Obama elected as the President.

Quite a number of them…
