鸡饭

“今晚要吃什么? Roti prata? Kaya toast? 鸡饭? 又是鸡饭啊? 不好啦, 吃太多鸡饭对身体不好.”

Had this “primary school” portion of chicken rice which costs $2.50, for our lunch before LoveAmp concert. =P

Damn, I’m hungry right at this moment.

[共和国]

Weeewww~ Last week had been full of ups and downs, still can’t believe everything happened in that span of just one week. Well, at least things ended in a kind of good note. Kind of.

Ok, I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve looped the album [共和国] for the past 6 days, at least 20+ times. I confess! I always skip the slow edit version of [共和国], because it seriously just makes me go zZzZzZzZzZz~~~ everytime. (The normal version is ZzZzZ enough already.)

Initially when I learnt that there would be 11 tracks in the album, however only 8 of them are new and the rest are remixes, I felt “cheated” lah. Okay, but after countless spins of the album, the songs justify the overall quality of the album. There, quality over quantity. [青蛙], [慢舞], [空瓶], and [游记] are the ones I really like, and [穿反] being my absolute favourite!

3.5/5 stars for the album! The songs and her voice are good, but I feel she can improve on her articulation of her words. (Like angmoh singing Chinese. =P) If I can make this a bias review, I would add 0.5 more for her lyrics writing effort. Damn good! She makes me feel like I failed Chinese. “Nah, I kid.”

Can we expect her to be featured on I-Weekly cover next Monday? Or at least one of the main featured articles?

End of IAP

Time to update on life, it has been an eventful week, and followed by tomorrow’s event.

Thursday marked the end of my IAP. I was supposed to work till Friday, but my manager gave me one day off to ‘compensate’ for the amount of OT I have worked. So nice! Yep, no doubt I has been feeling quite 舍不得, as I’ve been more or less felt attached to this company. I’ll never forget the people and working environment, and of course our favourite hunts during lunch – Plaza Singapura, Isle Cafe at Peace Centre, Sunshine Plaza etc. Haha!

It was definitely a great learning experience over there. I’ve learnt lots of things which we might never get to learn in school, gain experience, and one thing I feel that I’ve improved on – I think I talk more now. =D

And thanks for the lunch at Astons! =)

Yeah, on that same day, my sister got back her PSLE results, which she did remarkably well. =D However, I was planning to buy [共和国] after work, but my family told me to meet them for ‘celebration’ dinner. Woah…mixed feelings. =X Haha, fortunately the dinner was superb and did satisfy me to some extent on that day lah. Haha…

The next day, I woke up an hour earlier than the time I set for my alarm. Wah lao…I think I was too excited to get my hands on [共和国]. So I went to CWP’s CD Rama to buy at 11am! Once I reached home, immediately rip the CD to my laptop and copied them to my phone. I listened to it 7 times throughout the day. Crazy~

Yep yep, upcoming entry on today’s [共和国] autograph session! =)
