The statement in the entry title makes me LOL.

I think I’m quite weird recently.

On Wednesday, I made myself OT for an hour because I felt I had not been doing a good job for my work, until I had to be told to go home immediately.

On Thursday, when I could have waited for the shuttle bus to ferry us up to our office, I chose to climb the stairs.

Yesterday, I got to stressed up from work that I kept thinking about mouse. (I had cheese steak + cheese for dinner during our mousey business at Subway.)

WOOHOOHOO!!! Aud & I finally got our toys today. She got her 55-250 lens at Cathay Photo, then we went to John 3:16 at Funan to look for her bag and my 430EX II. (Wah lao, why can’t someone go there one week later? The shops are on the same floor too! Haha!) Sadly, they didn’t have what we wanted, but I must say the staff there are really friendly people. If not for my super tight budget, I would have waited for another three days and pay $25 more to buy from them. John 3:16 rules! Haha! (BTW, it’s not a Christian shop lah. LOL!)

Went back to MS Color at AMK and finally bought my flash. Dang! Poverty!

Below are the photos to show the differences between the in-built flash and various angles of the flash directions. (No post-processing done at all.)

In-built flash from 450D

Direct from 430EX II

45° pointing upwards

75° pointing upwards (IMO, the best one of the five photos)

90° pointing upwards

OMG, look at the differences and flexibility to control lighting. Loving every bit of my new toy! It’s quite heavy even without batteries. Can already feel my camera ‘wobbling’ when I held it at vertical position. Can’t imagine what would happen to my arms if I bought a 580EX II instead. =P

Next up - make my own bounce card and learn post-processing in Lightroom 2.

Alrighty! From the start of this coming week, I shall strictly restrict myself to spend less than $30 every week. One thing, to save my bank account which is dried up. More importantly, I have yet to treat my family to a nice meal after getting my pathetic pay.
