Paint-A-Home + Bear’s Birthday

Taking a break from the heavy workload. Have so rush soooooo many things by tomorrow, and I wonder why is it worse than normal schooling days?

Went to Paint-A-Home (a community service organised by NUS students) at Jamiyah Children’s Home, with the other 2 “lao das”, Panda and Aud. After collecting our tees, and a very long wait for the organisers to settle their stuff, we finally started work. Shifted the furnitures to make room for our painting, and gosh…the living condition is bad. There were a number of huge lizards and cockroaches hiding in the cupboards and curtains, their floor was sticky and oily and littered all over, and even the beds were hidden with ‘treasures’.

Dirty feet of Dajie, Aud and I.

After cleaning the place, we started white-washing the walls twice, and finally two coats of purple paint for the finishing. Felt useless when I was high up on the ladder, trembling all over. Tsk tsk… T_T

Aud & I didn’t stayed till the whole event ended, we left only after we finished washing the rollers and took JM’s dad’s car to Central to buy some stuff for Bear’s birthday later.

Met the other YanziUnlimited peeps at Settler’s, which was my first time there. Nice place! =) After dinner, we played some crazy and noisy game called Pit (quite similar to Heart Attack). I was actually shouting out numbers and screaming when someone called out “Pit!”, but of course the rest of them were so much louder so they couldn’t hear me at all. After the game, my throat was feeling so hot and painful from all the shoutings. LOL LOS!

Wrapped up last game and headed to the Central for some sabo-ing attempt for the birthday girl. All sorts of alcoholic drinks and wasabi-flavoured donut topped up with BBQ sauce, chilli, sugar etc. Poor Bear~ Luckily I had nothing of that on my 18th birthday. Phew~

It was a looong and tiiiriiing day, but nevertheless it was all fun! When I came home, my hands couldn’t stop trembling and even had problem navigating the mouse. Till now my shoulders and back are having slight aches. =P

Okay, I won’t be blogging anytime soon. I’m so excited in starting the photography assignment. Woots!

P/S: Happy 8th Anniversary to Yanzi!!!

HUAT AHHH!!!

Scorpio Woman

Received this email from my father, I find the way they describe Scorpio women very funny. Sounds to me as if Scorpio women are so domineering! When some of the points are accurate, it’s 99% accurate, and vice versa! (Aye, I thought the one about Scorpio men relates to me better. T_T ) Parts in bold are accurate, the rest is…DUH!

A simple woman who always show what kind of a moods she is in. You can tell right way if she up set, or if she is flirting with you. She displays herself with her act much more than trying to say it for it’s in her character.

A Scorpio woman has her own mysterious personality. She is confident and deep down inside she is quite proud of herself. She hates to think she is borne a woman and so limiting her with a certain social acceptable rules. She is a real woman and despite her innocent and childish looks, she has a spirit of free soul. Many men will make mistake if they think she is a good follower, they are wrong.

She thinks being a plain simple housewife is boring. She likes to have power and control over other people, but this will be only her secret, so you will only see a cute woman. Everything she does will look good, and she has all the women’s tricks you can think of. She can manipulate men without them knowing it.

If you think she going to do everything you say because she loves you, then you will be disappointed. She could be a little tomboyish and she can understand you by just looking in your eyes. You may say sweet words which could sweep any woman, but not with the Scorpio woman. She will use her X-ray eyes reading your thought of what you just said or what you are going to say. She always smile and she can really hide her feeling.

SNAIL!!! Isn’t that what you always experienced? LOL!!!

She will constantly show you that she loves freedom. If she has freedom, she will not leave you, but will even love you more. If she wants something, she will do everything to get it. She has her own sixth sense of people and you can feel that energy feed back when you around her. She likes a man who can earn her respect, and she will also respect and feel proud of that man. A man with power over her should not threat or challenge her confident. She likes to have a good looking, strong and healthy man especially if she starts to compare with her friends’ boyfriends. It is a plus if he hold a degree or a good career.

She is a hot lady. She likes heavy music. She either loves or hates, there are no “fond of”, or “like” for her. Love has no “may be”, or “perhaps”. If she is real mad, she will trash and throw things. Her wind storm can sweep all her dishes and you could get accidentally hit on your head for this matter. Be calm, it is just your grand mother favorite china for she has good quality as much as her bad tempered.

Sometimes she shows her weakness, but it won’t be long. She will put herself together and back to be that hot chili again. If she loves you, it will be no matter what other people may say. Her relationship will be more important than what is right or wrong. Because of this reason, you may know some Scorpio woman become a second wife, a mistress.

She is spoil, but she allows her love one to over power her. Dating this woman, you should not keep old love letters in your pocket or in your house. It could be a love letter 2 years ago, but never mind she will argue about this since this is a big deal for a suspicious woman. Remember she has a temper of the shrew.

If you play a cold war with her, she will treat you likewise and double it. If you stood her up once, she will stood you up 2-3 times. She is quite fair in justice, so she can accept your apologies as much as she can pretend to accept things for now and wait for a pay back revenge in the future. If you are nice to hear, she will double that to you as well. A real fair woman.

She likes to make and spent money. She likes to have fame and reputations, and never let herself broke and have no name at the same time. She is too proud and will not accept status of being “Poor”. She loves to have face, so if you are a manager with small salary, she will be proud more than more money being a truck driver. She hates to think and she can not stand a feeling of being a “Nobody”.

If you like her, play a little hard to get. This will excite her a bit. When you go out on a date, set your schedule, but do not let she knows that you have planned this for weeks. Always go to pick her up on time or better to go 5-10 minutes early.

Still, I don’t believe in horoscope stuff. Heh heh…

BUP!

Woots! I can say this weekend started off well. My MG assignment, which gave me lots of worries ever since the first week of school, received a feedback of “not bad for overall”. Phew~

The long-awaited day arrived – Bridge UP (BUP) – a chalet for fans of Samy!!! Woke up at 4.30am, wanted to catch the first bus to the airport to send our dear Samy off. Just after I finish bathing, I received an SMS sent by Snail at 5am that her flight was postponed! Of course I couldn’t go back to sleep immediately, so went online and “loitered” around before going back to sleep at 6am.

Slept for another 4+1 hours and rushed to Snail’s house to prepare the food for BBQ, then help to carry the stuff. The bus ride from Bishan to Changi Village was loooooong! Luckily throughout the journey which took about an hour, I had Aud to talk about photography stuff, and Panda later told me that it was her first time hearing me talk so much! Haha!

Had our lunch at Changi Village before taking the bus to our chalet. While the others were BBQ-ing, UFO and I were busying photographing cats! Though I’m not a cat lover, but I have to say the kittens were so cute! I love one photo I’ve taken with UFO and a cat looking into her camera lens curiously. Haha!

We started our Meta marathon as well, but I didn’t watch much of the first 10 episodes. At about 8.30pm, we gave Panda & Joceline a birthday surprise! Aiyo, the two of them were so shy that they quickly ran off, and had to be ‘escorted’ back to the room.

After giving out the cakes, Snail & Panda had a ‘cake fight’. Tsk tsk…violent! No wonder you are labelled as Kungbu Panda! Had to siam away from the two of them, just in case my cam kenna. Yeah, Joceline wasn’t spared by the cream-in-face too!

Not long after, they decided to play water bombs outside. Snail, UFO, Yamie, Xaby, Joey and I didn’t want to join, so we went to the “safe area” on the 2nd storey. After all the bombings, Snail carried out her crazy plan by throwing water bombs from up there, and we quickly shut the windows, pushed the table, stool and themselves against the doors. True enough, they charged up and began banging onto the doors, which were about the gave way. VIOLENT!!!

Snail finally opened the doors, after UFO and I moved all of our gadgets and valuables (which costs thousands of dollars in total) to the cupboard as fast as possible, and war broke out! Instead of water bombings, we had worse – PAILING! Hey, splashing buckets of water in the bedroom! The gross thing was that 3 out of the 5 pails were actually from the rubbish bins. YUCKS!

Everyone wasn’t spared. I was ‘pailed’ by Aud, and my second attack was by Snail, who said that I looked too ‘dry’. Xaby and Joey were screaming really crazily, knowing that they were the only targets left. They even stepped onto the beds, thinking that the rest wouldn’t dare to ‘pail’ on them, as it would dirty the bedsheets and mattresses too. They were SO WRONG! Anything can be done by people who were in their crazy state of mind. So yes, they were finally ‘pailed’ even though they were standing in their so-called ‘safest area’.

Yes, and it was quite wasted that someone wasn’t there, so the SGLD had to do it in a virtual way. Haha! But I feel quite guilty…she must have feel so irritated. =X

After the Water Festival ended, a few of my TONG LEIs, who were still happily buzzing around, committed suicide by jumping into the flood. Must be those horrible screams which drove them crazy! RIP.

I couldn’t rememeber what happen after that, was too ‘high’. Anyway, we continued our Meta marathon till 7am, after skipping those boring and violent scenes, and occasionally laughing at Samy’s emo scenes. =D

Wah, it was tiring man! My eyes were swollen by the time the marathon ended. For the first time ever, I was awake for more than 24 hours! I looked really scary…

After clearing up the place, we went to Mac at White Sands to have our breakfast. Didn’t dare to sleep on the train on the way back home, was too tired that I was afraid I would sleep till Boon Lay. Reached home at 11am, and slept from 12-6pm. Super tiring and sleepy! But I don’t mind BUP2! YAY!!!

Yes, fun is an understatement to describe the chalet. COMPLETE MADNESS! No wonder someone thought that we were drunk!
